The Haircut story

Dear Nightingales,

This term we are learning English through Oxford Reading Tree stories. This week we are reading the story: "The Haircut" which tells the story of Kipper who goes to the hair dresser with his dad for a haircut. Joins us in this adventure and read this story with your parents.

At the Farm

We went to the farm called “El Arriero” and we had a wonderful time there. We had the opportunity to meet some lovely animals and feed them. For example, we fed the cow, the chickens and the rabbits. The children were so happy and amazed with the animals. They also had the chance to prepare bread to share and eat; it was delicious.

I am sure all of us had a lovely time there.

Happy Mother`s day

This May we celebrated Mother`s day. Our Nightingales rehearsed several times for this special day. They  danced a musical called Boogie Wonderland; they also prepared a sketch about Rapunzel which was lovely.

They also prepared some presents for their mums which they enjoyed doing a lot.

Learning new sounds

          In English lessons, we are learning new sounds, like the sound A, O, M.  Through songs, puzzles, chants my nightingales are progressing little by little. It is amazing how they are progressing day by day and that makes me feel very proud.

 I would like to share a nice song we learnt using the letter M. Five little monkeys! In class we dance, sing and act out as we were little monkeys. Children have many talents, and one of them is acting! They performed like professional actors. I would also like to  share this link with you so that the your children  can listen. It´s called “Bananas for lunch”. I hope you like it.

New week, new experiences!

Thanks for visiting our blog again. As you know, this week we have learnt the importance of our Golden Rules. These Rules are important because they help us to behave well in our classes and our home.



Moreover, we have learnt many more things this week. In English we learnt many new words and songs. Also in Math we have learnt about shapes, colours and size. In Science, we explored the parts of the body with games and songs. In Music, we sang beautiful songs!
