At the library!
Dear nightingales,
Reading a book is a fantastic experience and an excellent habit in our lifes. This year my little pre kinder Nightingales understood the importance of reading and all the amazing things, magic and fantasy they can discover in many stories.
I would like to share with you some pictures of the moments we went to the library to lend your favourite books to read at home with your parents.
Remember to read and enjoy books for your life and you will always learn interesting things.
With love.

Nightingales Christmas celebration!
Dear Nightingales,
Christmas is coming to town and also to school. For that reason, we celebrated Christmas with a special day. First, we saw a very nice drama presentation in which Santa makes us have fun. Then we danced in the patio with baloons and music. After that, we went to the classroom to share a special moment, talking about all the great time we had together during this year. Also, we ate delicious food, played, danced and all of you got prizes for your great steps. Finally we watched a very nice movie together.
I would like to share with you some photos of this special Christmas celebration.
Merry Christmas!!
With love.
Miss Vanessa.

ORT Story: The Pancake
Dear Nightingales,
Have you ever eaten a pancake before? Did you taste it? I am sure it was delicious. Well, in this story, Kipper´s dad prepared a pancake, and Kipper, Biff and Chip helped him to make it for Mum. In the end of the story, Mum went to a competition called "the pancake race" in which she won and everybody were happy, including Floppy.
I would like to share with you the story to read it at home, remember to practise the vocabulary with your parents. The vocabulary learnt were words from the story: flour, milk, pancake, butter, frying pan and eggs. Remember to blend them before you read them. Like when we do spelling games. With love. Miss Vanessa.
